Hey I'm Chloe
I’m sure you might be looking at me and thinking ‘easy for you to say you’ve never struggled to be healthy. How can you understand my struggles?’
Let me share my story because that isn’t the case. In my early 20s when at university studying a language degree I, by chance, discovered I had a significant heart defect and had to leave university to have open heart surgery. This experienced changed my life. Not only did I learn a valuable lesson; that you should never take your health for granted, it exposed my passion for health and fitness.
I became a physiotherapist and enjoyed every minute of helping my patients reach their maximum potential despite adversity, injury or illness. I specialised in womens’ health and musculoskeletal physiotherapy. Supporting women to reach their potential became my purpose.
I continued to push myself outside of work; going from a cardiac rehabilitation programme to marathons and half Ironman. My drive came from constantly challenging myself. The people around me could see this. I randomly received a Facebook message from an old work colleague, she’d been through a divorce, wanted to lose weight and needed support with an open water swim challenge she had booked. This is where my love for coaching began. She smashed her swim, went on to run a marathon and lose five stone with my support.
Despite having an extensive grasp of exercise and the human body, I knew there were a few missing links; what about nutrition and mindset?
Investing in nutrition and life coaching qualifications allows me to support women in every aspect of their life; their mood, their food and getting them to move!
I have to admit, I wasn’t completely ready to fully commit to my coaching business, but then 2020 threw us the pandemic curve ball, my physiotherapy work dried up and I pivoted into online coaching.
Despite not being ‘ready’ I committed to my coaching business and have been privileged to support more and more women to help maximise their potential by getting healthier, happier and crucially gain confidence and self-esteem.
You’ll never be completely ready but do it anyway!
